Cal-ITP Project Information#

Supported by the California State Transportation Agency (CalSTA) and the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) through a grant from the California Transit and Intercity Rail Capital Program (TIRCP), the California Integrated Travel Project (Cal-ITP) is a statewide initiative to make travel simpler and more cost-effective for everyone. Project Background#

  • Market Sounding: This 2019 market sounding laid the foundation for our current priorities. It was followed up with a business case analysis of the project in a Feasibility Study.

How Cal-ITP relates to DDS#

Caltrans’s Division of Data & Digital Services directly supports Cal-ITP by providing subject matter expert knowledge, analyzing data, and coordinating the interaction between CalSTA, Caltrans, Partner Agencies and other stakeholders to achieve the Cal-ITP’s goals.
